Protoniqa

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This policy describes how Protoniqa handles information in its IoT monitoring and device-control service at monitor.protoniqa.com, including optional Google Home account linking. It does not describe Google's independent handling of information or unrelated third-party services.

Information processed

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users and devices, enforce access permissions, display device status, deliver commands and schedules, maintain account links, investigate faults, and protect the service against unauthorized access.

Google Home integration

Linking to Google Home is optional. When you authorize it, Protoniqa provides Google with an account identifier and the identifiers, names, capabilities and relevant states of supported devices available to your account. Google can send requests to read or control those devices within the permissions supported by the integration. Newly assigned supported devices may also become available through the linked account.

You enter your Protoniqa password on the Protoniqa sign-in page. The account-linking flow gives Google authorization tokens rather than your Protoniqa password. Google processes information under its own Privacy Policy.

Service providers and authorized access

The service relies on hosting and database infrastructure to store and process information. Authorized administrators may access information to manage accounts, devices, permissions and support requests. Information needed for Google Home is shared with Google when you link your account. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law.

Cookies and sign-in

The service uses session cookies and, where enabled, persistent sign-in cookies to keep you signed in and protect authenticated operations. You can clear these cookies in your browser; doing so may sign you out.

Storage and security

Records are retained as needed to operate accounts and devices, provide history where available, investigate security or service issues, and meet applicable obligations. Retention depends on the record type and service configuration. HTTPS, authentication and permission checks are used to protect access; no storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can unlink Protoniqa in Google Home to stop future control through that account link. Unlinking does not by itself delete your Protoniqa account, device history, or information already held by Google. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Protoniqa account information. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the account. Some records may need to be retained for security or applicable obligations.
